The Red Deer Orangemen was created out of the Red Deer Lacrosse Association in the late 1990's. Our focus was and still is on grassroots Field Lacrosse with an emphasis towards playing, learning and enjoying the outdoor game, while balancing our family times in our short Canadian summers.
Even with an emphasis on enjoying the game, our grassroots coaching excels at bringing out the best in our kids, from a 1999 U16 Canadian 'Alumni Cup' National title, to a 2008 ‘Best of the West’ Las Vegas title, or simply a 2018 Novice Boys Provincial title, we want our kids to learn the game.
Our Orangemen Ladies started with a Senior Team in 2013 with our first minor U15 team starting in 2015 while attaining a Provincial Bronze medal that same year. While many Orangemen kids have gone on to play higher level box, or NCAA Field Lacrosse, we want to leave behind an individual who has a lifelong passion for Lacrosse.
Orangemen Field Lacrosse offers both Men’s and Ladies divisional play, from Tyke to U19 with affordable registration fees and opportunities for standard summer programming, or Elite Winter travel team play.
